Difference between Side-Transparent Led Screen and Front-Transparent Led Screen
At present, there are about three kinds of transparent screens on the market in terms of process design methods, one is the side luminous side paste process transparent screen, one is the side luminous front paste process, and the other is the positive luminous process transparent screen. At present, these three methods are commonly used in the market, but the prices are very different. Many people don't know the difference between the three.
1： Side-Transparent Led Screen
Transparent screen is pasted on the side, and long strip-shaped side light-emitting LED beads are adopted. Because the PCB is in the form of light bar and placed on the side, the PCB can be made very wide without affecting the transparency. When the PCB is wide, it can make higher brightness through greater current, and has good heat dissipation. In the form of light bar, it is convenient for cutting. Therefore, high brightness, good heat dissipation and convenient cutting and customization are the biggest advantages compared with the positive luminous transparent screen. Secondly, the hollowing out rate in the front view direction is higher than that of the positive luminous transparent screen with the same point spacing. However, because the PCB placed on the side has a certain width, there is a "shutter effect". When it changes from the positive perspective to the up and down perspective, the hollowing out rate will be greatly attenuated. Another fatal disadvantage is the light leakage behind the lamp bead, which will directly cause light pollution to the indoor environment when the display screen works.
2： Side-Transparent Led Screen
In addition to the side luminous transparent screen, the positive luminous side pasted transparent screen is developed by making the cross section of PCB as a pad and pasting positive luminous light beads. This transparent screen integrates all the advantages of the side luminous transparent screen just mentioned, and there will be no light leakage of lamp beads. The main disadvantage is that the lamp beads are easy to be bumped and the production process is difficult. There is also a technical difficulty in the production of PCB cross-section pad. The overall cost is high.
3：Front-Transparent Led Screen
The PCB is hollowed out so that the PCB has a certain permeability, and the LED light bead is pasted on the front of the PCB. This transparent screen design, due to the use of LED beads with large market use, the LED beads are stable. Mature patch technology and high overall screen stability. As the front of the LED bulb faces outward, the viewing angle is wide, and there will be no light leakage of the bulb. The main disadvantage is that the PCB width is wide, and the light transmittance is relatively inferior to the side light-emitting. At the same time, because the front pasted process light board generally has multiple light strip design lines, it is not easy to customize the multi-size display of the high brightness positive light-emitting transparent screen. The cost is relatively low.
Summary:The three methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. In practical application, appropriate products are selected according to project location, installation mode, display effect, etc. Optional side luminous transparent screen requiring higher permeability, higher brightness and customization; For general store windows, positive lighting mode can be selected if there are no strict special size requirements.
