South Korea gsmatt special glass display ultra-high transparency glass curtain wall integrated into campus buildings
This case takes place in a university campus in South Korea. It is a story of RGB LED glass screen embedded in the outer wall of the building. The glass curtain wall has nearly 99% ultra-high transparency.
At first, due to supply, technology, cost and other reasons, designers and architects were not optimistic about the case project. But obviously, this kind of technology has great potential for the continuous integration and development of digital signage and construction industry.
The traditional cabinet type LED screen is easy to block the line of sight. If the designer adopts mesh LED screen. Then, especially at the back of the curtain wall, the line layout of the whole screen curtain wall will be clearly visible.
Considering the maintenance time, maintenance and other factors, it will be very interesting for led to be directly embedded into the glass curtain wall of large buildings and airports. However, night is always better able to give play to the advantages of LED than day and night.
The project uses the special glass display of gsmatt, a Korean technology company. It is through ADI, a British company TV launch.
